I am a PhD candidate in the Becker lab at the University of Oklahoma School of Biological Sciences interested in the effects of habitat fragmentation on infectious disease dynamics in wildlife. My research applies and seeks to improve metagenomics and molecular diagnostic methods in field-based wildlife disease studies. I use Neotropical and North American bat systems in Belize and Oklahoma to answer my questions. |
